Work Location: On-siteProduction Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of 10–15 production employees
- Execute daily shift plans developed by department leadership and scheduling
- Ensure production, quality, labor efficiency, and safety goals are met
- Provide clear communication between production teams and management
- Ensure accurate and timely production reporting and documentation
- Enforce standard operating procedures and safety requirements
- Coordinate machine setups with setup technicians and scheduling teams
- Partner with Quality teams to ensure first‑article approvals and inspections
- Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Interview, onboard, train, and coach production employees
- Review and approve timecards, manage schedules, approve PTO, and assign overtime
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development plans
- Address performance concerns and recommend corrective action when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment
- Perform other supervisory duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Solid mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, BOMs, and production schedules
- Experience working with production data and performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and spend significant time walking the production floor
