PeerSource is currently recruiting for a UX Designer on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This role is based out of Loveland, CO. Full benefits are offered during the 2 year contract period prior to converting full-time. No third parties.
Summary
PeerSource is seeking a UX Designer to support an agile software engineering team developing highly integrated applications in a complex technical environment. This role will focus on designing intuitive user experiences, workflows, and wireframes while collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, scalable, and effectively implemented. The ideal candidate will bring experience designing mobile-first experiences and understanding how UX decisions translate into working software.
Responsibilities
- Design user experiences, workflows, wireframes, and interactive concepts for software applications in partnership with engineering teams.
- Translate business and technical requirements into intuitive, user-centered experiences that support complex workflows and integrations.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with implementation goals.
- Contribute to design systems, usability improvements, and workflow optimization across software products.
- Create mockups, prototypes, and user flow documentation to support product planning and development efforts.
- Partner with Agile teams throughout sprint cycles to refine requirements and improve overall user experience.
- Ensure mobile and cross-platform usability considerations are incorporated into design decisions.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in UX design, product design, or interaction design within software development environments.
- Strong experience creating wireframes, workflows, prototypes, and user-centered software experiences.
- Experience designing for native mobile applications or mobile-first platforms.
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams and understand technical implementation considerations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related discipline preferred.
