Our Registered Behavior Technicians work under the supervision of our highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analysts. As an RBT at PediaPlex, your role involves various instructional support activities. From data collection to material preparation and regular conversations with the patients' treatment team, you help shape effective behavior support plans.

What To Expect In The RBT Position

In our vibrant and collaborative environment, your role as an RBT would involve:

• Implementing personalized instructional programs. You'll be conducting interventions such as discrete trial training, verbal behavior, academic support, self-help skill cultivation, and social skills improvement.
• Preparing materials necessary for implementing the above programs.
• Providing support to clients in different settings within the clinic.
• Collecting and documenting client progress data for daily reporting to supervisors.

Qualifications We're Looking For

• You're 18 years old or more with a completed high school degree as a minimum.
• You've finished a training program in autism interventions (which we can provide) to your satisfaction.
• You're a certified Registered Behavior Technician from the BACB.
• You're CPR certified.
• Prior experience with Autism and developmental disabilities, although not required, is a plus.

As an RBT at PediaPlex, you should have the stamina to perform the functions of the position and the mental acuteness to collect and interpret data, as well as make judgments and decisions. The ability to physically negotiate different settings and respond to emergency situations is necessary.
