Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Key Responsibilities
· Build and maintain rapport with clients, pairing yourself with reinforcement to foster excitement and engagement.
· Implement behavior intervention plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
· Provide direct care and support, including one-on-one sessions, mealtimes, and outdoor activities on our large fenced playground.
· Set up learning activities independently using provided materials.
· Collect continuous daily data on client progress and behavior.
· Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
· Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
· Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenges.
· Support clients with hygiene (wiping noses, toilet training, diaper changes).
· Assist during therapy sessions and participate in educational activities.
· Help with daily clinic cleaning chores as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· RBT Certification (required before applying).
· CPR/First Aid Certification.
· Reliable transportation.
· Clear criminal background check.
· Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
· Knowledge of care plans, behavioral interventions, and special education practices.
· Familiarity with medical records and HIPAA compliance.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors with a calm, professional demeanor.
· Excellent observation and documentation skills.
· Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take the lead when needed.
Additional Information
· Clinic hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
· Client ages: 18 months to 7 years
· No phones allowed around children—for confidentiality and focus.
· “Working interview” required to assess fit and observe interactions with children.
· Raises based on initiative, skills, and experience.
