Facility Overview
- 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities to improve function and independence in daily living activities
- Ensure all treatments are carried out according to established plans of care
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and in-home care strategies
- Assist in developing individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, coordination, and daily functioning
- Promote injury prevention, safety awareness, and overall wellness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current New Mexico COTA license in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification (required)
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or subacute rehab setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
