- Acting as a key point of contact by answering and routing calls, especially around policies and procedures.
- Managing calendars and coordinating meetings for senior leadership.
- Handling administrative workflows like mail distribution, document management, faxing, and copying.
- Maintaining both electronic and paper filing systems to keep things organized and accessible.
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and general administrative documentation.
- Supporting the closure of incident and complaint records.
- Assisting with general office operations and stepping in where needed.
- Helping onboard or guide other administrative staff when necessary.
- Taking on additional tasks as priorities shift—which happens often in this environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional office environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Experience working with NYS systems like SFS or Health Commerce System (HCS) is preferred.
- Rate: $23.00 per hour
- Length of engagement: ASAP – One year with potential for extension
- Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, totaling 37.5 hours a week
