Now Hiring Electronics Technicians in West Chester Township, OH!
Shift: 1st, 5:30am-4:10pm, Monday-Thursday (40 minute lunch)
Rate: $20.00-$26.00 (Based on experience)
Summary: As a Electronics Technician, you will support the military community by being responsible for the basic testing, aligning and troubleshooting of the standard and volume-based products.
Essential Functions:
- Setup and perform repetitive technical electronic test functions with the assistance of more senior technicians and the aide of written procedures and instructions.
- Align, tune and troubleshoot standard product filters.
- Troubleshoot circuit card assemblies to component level.
- Perform simple electronic assembly such as installing a select-on test component or soldering a tap wire on an inductor during filter alignment in order to get the product to perform to specification properly.
- Perform simple mechanical assembly such as installing a cover or installing cables in order to get the product to perform to specification properly.
- Required to perform component level troubleshoot and repair of RF hopping filters and subassemblies such as digital controllers, RF Platforms, etc.
- Use of schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
- Standard product technicians will use Agilent/HP Network Analyzers, and automated tests sets.
- Perform simple continuity tests on wire harnesses per manufacturing drawings and / or wire charts.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2-year degree in an electronics field from an accredited college, university or technical school required.
- Minimum 2 years of RF related technician’s experience required.
- Knowledge of J-STD-OO1-D preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed is required.
- Must be well versed in the use of common RF test equipment (including calibration & troubleshooting).
- Must have knowledge of RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss as well as an advance understanding of filter alignment and component function.
- Basic PC skills are required for data entry and use of test software.
- Demonstrates ability to read schematics and troubleshoot simple circuits.
- Exposure to commonly used test equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supplies, spectrum analyzer and network analyzer.
- Ability to interface effectively with internal customers.
- Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to read drawings and schematics.
- Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification.
