Duties
- Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and special requests.
- Manage inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management of any shortages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including proper food handling practices.
- Support servers by bussing tables and assisting with customer service as needed.
- Collaborate with banquet teams during special events to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
