Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. As a Bartender, you will prepare and serve beverages, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
Skills
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in a food service environment.
- Experience in food service or bartending, demonstrating familiarity with drink preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale system for order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Experience in banquet service is a plus, particularly in high-volume settings.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Basic brewing knowledge is preferred for establishments that offer craft beers or specialty drinks.
