Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and providing excellent service to patrons in both fine dining and nightclub settings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing.
- Assist with banquet service and catering events as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Ensure compliance with local health regulations regarding food handling and safety practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to maximize efficiency while maintaining quality service.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order management.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards as well as nightclub operations.
- Experience in the food industry, including food service, brewing, and cocktail preparation.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Previous experience in bartending or related roles within restaurants or catering services is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
