Colorado Pay Transparency Disclosure:
In accordance with Colorado State law, PaulsCorp discloses wage information for roles that may be performed within the state of Colorado. The anticipated base pay for this position, located in Colorado, is $75,000 to $95,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Job Overview
Reports directly to the Project Superintendent. Manages sub-contractors within specific areas or phases of the project. Monitors and manages production levels, schedules, resources, planning, inspections and quality control within assigned project areas.
Essential Duties
- Manages hourly staff
- Tracks manpower count
- Schedules and coordinates material deliveries and ensures correct functioning and placement of all materials and equipment
- Coordinates area inspections
- Coordinates and schedules all subcontractors within area of responsibility
- Ensures quality and on-time completion of work
- Assists Superintendent in maintaining site specific safety and environmental plans
- Performs minor constructability reviews
- Identifies design conflicts and brings solutions to table
- Manages and performs all QC checklists within area of responsibility
- Verifies that all completed work complies with drawings and specifications
- Ensures code compliance
- Motivates those around him/her and maintains high level of morale
- Works directly with and performs field inspections with various entities (municipal, 3rd party, designers etc.)
- Maintains required safety training profile
- Performs shop drawing reviews
- Assists in project information flow internally / externally
- Maintains daily reports
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive construction field experience
- Multifamily construction experience required
- Applicants must reside in or have plans to relocate to the Denver Metro area.
- Local subcontractor market and industry experience preferred
- Construction Management software experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Project
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with project team, customers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and techniques as well as applicable building codes.
- Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, manufacturer’s literature, contract documents and CPM schedules.
- Understand construction scheduling and sequencing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace.
- Thorough and attentive to details; extremely organized and able to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to problem solve
