The Broomfield Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for an Events & Programs Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment and wants to play a key role in supporting local businesses and driving community connection.

Your work will:

  • Help local businesses gain visibility and customers
  • Create meaningful connections between leaders and decision-makers
  • Strengthen the economic vitality of the Broomfield community
What You’ll Do

You’ll own the full lifecycle of events and programs—from big-picture strategy to on-the-ground execution.

Lead & Execute Exceptional Events

  • Plan and deliver a full calendar of Chamber events and programs
  • Bring fresh ideas to enhance attendee experience and engagement
  • Oversee logistics, timelines, and on-site execution

Build Relationships That Drive Impact

  • Manage vendors, license and permit applications, venues, sponsors, and community partners
  • Ensure sponsors receive real value and visibility
  • Serve as a key connector within the business community

Drive Revenue & Growth

  • Support sponsorship development and program growth
  • Track budgets and identify opportunities to increase impact and ROI

Lead Volunteers & Committees

  • Recruit and manage volunteers who help bring events to life
  • Serve as staff liaison to key Chamber committees and networking groups

Collaborate on Marketing & Member Experience

  • Work closely with the Membership & Marketing team to promote events
  • Help ensure every program aligns with our mission: Where Business Meet Community

Continuously Improve

  • Evaluate event success, gather feedback, and make each experience better than the last
Who You Are

You’re someone who:

  • Loves bringing people together and creating memorable experiences
  • Is highly organized but also creative and adaptable
  • Can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
  • Builds relationships easily and communicates with confidence
  • Takes initiative and solves problems without waiting to be asked
  • Brings positive energy to everything you do
What You Bring
  • 2–3 years of experience in event planning, program management, or similar
  • Experience working with vendors, sponsors, and/or volunteers
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and learning new systems (we use ChamberMaster CRM)
  • Ability to work some early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends

  • Salary range: $50,000 – $54,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Paid time off package
  • Two weeks (80 hours) vacation
