In accordance with Colorado State law, Tryg discloses wage information for roles that may be performed within the state of Colorado. The anticipated base pay for the National Superintendent position, located in Colorado, is $93,000 -$148,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Job Overview
As a Superintendent at Tryg Critical Solutions, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing on-site construction activities for critical facility projects. You’ll supervise all subcontractors and project personnel, ensuring that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications and client expectations. Serving as the on-site representative for Tryg CS, you’ll embody our commitment to excellence and represent the company with the highest level of professionalism.
Essential Duties
As a Superintendent at Tryg Critical Solutions, you’ll be expected to lead with precision, accountability, and a deep understanding of MEP systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Promote Safety: Lead daily safety huddles and walks; enforce PPE use and protocols; orient personnel to site safety, logistics, and scope.
- Supervise Teams: Manage all on-site personnel and subcontractors; define roles and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate MEP Work: Oversee MEP sequencing and integration; align trades with project milestones and technical requirements.
- Manage Communication & Documentation
Track RFIs, daily logs, and as-built drawings; communicate with supervisors, trades, and AHJs to drive project progress. - Control Schedule & Budget
Maintain timelines and profitability; manage change orders and support PM with clear clarifications.
- Ensure Quality
Own project quality; identify and correct issues; manage punch lists to ensure completion and compliance. - Facilitate Team Alignment
Communicate jobsite goals; coordinate trades to maintain workflow and resolve conflicts. - Execute Technical Scope
Follow specifications and contract documents; read blueprints; manage materials and site logistics. - Support Leadership
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure successful project delivery.
Client Retention Duties
- Maintain open, ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Review project scope and progress weekly; escalate major concerns to upper management.
- Collaborate with facility personnel and participate in After Action closeout meetings.
- Refer potential business leads to National Business Development (NBD) team.
Experience, Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant construction or critical facility experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Skilled in Viewpoint Team and Spectrum platforms
- Demonstrated experience in estimating and change management
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, consultants, and team members
- Willing and able to travel up to 40 weeks per year & must reside within 75 miles of a major international airport.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to rent a vehicle as needed
Preferred Certifications
Candidates with the following certifications are given priority:
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Construction Superintendent Operations Certification (CSOC)
- Certified Professional Constructor (CPC)

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

- Capable of reading written communications and monochrome computer screens for extended periods
- Must be able to sit in any class airline seat for flights up to 8 hours
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and navigate active job sites safely
