Boston Technology Transactions Mid-Level Associate

Paul Hastings’ Technology Transactions Group is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join their dynamic and growing team in Boston.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technology, intellectual property, and commercial law, advising leading clients across industries on complex, high-value transactions and emerging issues, including artificial intelligence and to collaborate with, and be mentored by, market leading attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements, including licenses, development and collaboration agreements, SaaS agreements, data use agreements, and strategic partnership agreements
• Conduct and manage IP and technology due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions
• Counsel clients on legal and regulatory issues related to artificial intelligence, including model development, data governance, risk allocation, and compliance considerations
• Advise clients on the licensing, protection, and commercialization of technology assets
• Stay current on developments in technology law, AI regulation, and market trends, and contribute to client alerts and thought leadership
  
  

Candidates must have 3-5 years of technology transactions experience in a law firm, demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements and with intellectual property concepts and due diligence processes, and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills . Candidates must also have strong academic credentials and be admitted to and be in good standing in [or be eligible to waive into] Massachusetts. The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $260,000 and a maximum of $390,000 (annually). The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
