Job Description
In this capacity, the Analyst I will:
- Maintain timekeeper, client, and matter maintenance information in the financial system of record;
- Utilize existing reports for financial analysis, production, data and process control using Power BI, Excel, and other tools that access the firm’s financial databases;
- Support efforts to advance the Firm’s reporting, data visualization and analysis capabilities;
- Work independently and follow through on assignments escalating complex matters on an as needed basis;
- Manage recurring deliverables in accordance with agreed upon specifications and set deadlines; and
- Collaborate with team members and Strategic Finance leadership to prioritize tasks and projects based on deadlines or in response to shifting priorities.
- Introductory level proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization software;
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint;
- Familiarity with 3E accounting software or similar enterprise software programs is a plus;
- Knowledge of general accounting principles;
- Capability to learn and follow Firm and practice-area-specific procedures and terminology; and
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or Information Systems (preferred); and
- Zero to 1 year of financial reporting experience (preferred).
