deLima Coffee, an expanding wholesale coffee roaster, is seeking a full-time Quality Control Technician at our Morgan Road facility in Liverpool, NY. This position supports the quality and consistency of packaged coffee products, including single-cup production, through production line inspections, product testing, and accurate documentation.
Schedule and Pay
- Day shift, Monday through Friday; exact hours to be confirmed.
- Overtime opportunities available.
- $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality checks on packaged coffee and single-cup production lines to verify products meet company and customer specifications.
- Inspect packaging, labels, date codes, seals, and product weights for accuracy and consistency.
- Collect product samples and perform testing according to established procedures.
- Accurately record inspection results, testing data, and deviations from quality standards.
- Promptly communicate quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager and production supervisors.
- Assist with investigating quality issues and verifying corrective actions.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures, and report potential concerns.
- Maintain clean, organized testing areas and properly care for quality control equipment.
Qualifications
- Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures, identify inconsistencies, and maintain accurate records.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and management teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an active production environment.
- Dependable attendance and availability to work overtime as needed.
