A well-established boutique executive search firm is seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to join its Financial Services practice, with a focus on Investment Banking and Private Markets. The firm partners closely with leading advisory firms, private equity sponsors, credit platforms, and alternative investment managers on senior-level search mandates.
This role is ideal for a hands-on recruiter who thrives in a high-touch, relationship-driven environment and has a strong track record delivering senior searches across complex, competitive markets. You will play a critical role in both execution and client engagement, working closely with partners to deliver thoughtful, high-quality outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities
Search Execution & Candidate Engagement
- Lead end-to-end execution of executive search assignments across Investment Banking and Private Markets
- Partner with clients to develop role specifications, search strategies, and target profiles
- Conduct in-depth market mapping and proactive candidate identification across relevant financial institutions and investment platforms
- Engage, assess, and manage senior-level candidates throughout the interview and selection process
- Deliver high-quality candidate evaluations, including written profiles and client-ready insights
- Manage multiple live mandates simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and responsiveness
Client Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on talent availability, compensation, and market dynamics
- Support partners in maintaining and expanding client relationships through consistent execution and credibility
- Contribute to repeat business through strong delivery and candidate experience
Market Intelligence & Firm Building
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Private Credit, and other private market strategies
- Track leadership moves, firm expansions, and evolving hiring needs across the sector
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices across searches and client engagements
- Support business development efforts through research, candidate intelligence, and relationship building
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in executive search, retained search, or senior-level recruitment
- Demonstrated experience recruiting across Investment Banking and/or Private Markets (Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Alternatives, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage senior, client-facing search mandates with minimal oversight
- Strong candidate assessment, interviewing, and relationship management skills
- Comfortable operating in a boutique environment with high accountability and visibility
