Senior Business Development Executive - Retained Executive Search

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive Search professional to help us expand our well-respected, growing firm. The role requires a strategic thinker with a focus on business growth and developing strong meaningful relationships within the Human Resources, CFO and CEO communities. This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, identifying, and successfully converting new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy: In a collaborative and flexible manner, contribute to developing a business development strategy. Execute this strategy to identify, pursue and convert new client opportunities within the Human Resources function.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with HR professionals, CHROs, and other key decision-makers (C-Suite) within target client organizations.
Market Knowledge & Trends: Maintain knowledge and active industry involvement to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for business expansion.
Client Onboarding: Successfully align clients with our recruiting teams for onboarding and delivery of recruiting needs. While the Business Development professional should maintain a strong relationship with client leadership, ideally the delivery and execution of the search work will be handled by our internal Executive Recruiting teams.
Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and cultivate relationships within the HR community.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and track key performance metrics related to business development activities, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably within Human Resources, Professional Services or the Retained Executive Search industry.
- A strong network of contacts within the Human Resources profession including HR professionals, CHROs, and other key decision-makers is highly desired
- Strong understanding of retained executive search processes, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
- Embraces team-orientation, knowing we do better work, have stronger outcomes, working together.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
