Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all student academic records, including enrollment, withdrawals, transfers, and graduation status.
- Ensure accuracy, security, and confidentiality of student information in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
- Process transcript requests and prepare official transcripts, enrollment verifications, and other academic records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for records-related inquiries from students, parents, staff, and external institutions.
- Manage student information systems, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and updates.
- Coordinate student registration processes, including new student intake and orientation support.
- Prepare reports related to enrollment, attendance, and academic records as required by administration or district offices.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical and digital filing systems for student records in accordance with retention policies.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to student records and data reporting.
- Assist with state reporting requirements and audits involving student data.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the principal(s).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively with staff, students, families, and the public.
- Knowledge of school policies, procedures, and internal operations; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in modern office software and technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and scheduling tools.
- Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
