As part of the Patton Logistics family of entities, Route Consultant Purchasing Alliance (RCPA) is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team! At RCPA, we help businesses across the country in the logistics industry save time and money through our fuel card services and trusted vendor partnerships.

The Business Development Representative is responsible for being laser focused on prospecting new business opportunities by conducting high-volume outbound calls. Your primary responsibility will be to engage potential customers, qualify leads, and schedule sales meetings for our Business Development Managers.

  • Strategically reach out to & follow-up with leads in a timely manner including pre & post events, online and phone inquiries, as well as cold calls
  • Identify and actively prospect clients in new industries and markets
  • Build rapport with decision-makers and assess their business needs
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize outreach strategies
  • Log and track activity in Salesforce
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation targets

Knowledge / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job-related experience
  • 1-3 years of business development or sales related experience
  • Familiarity with fleet management and fuel expense optimization is a plus.

Headquartered in Brentwood, TN, our organization consists of financial, fuel, and brokerage consulting services for business owners in the logistics and transportation space.

Additional Information

  • Full-time remote position
  • The ideal candidate understands the nature of our business is not 9-5 and is willing to work extended/flexible hours as needed
  • PTO is flexible once training is complete and performance expectations are being met
