We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations and front desk coordination. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order processing, shipping documentation, and communication across departments including Operations, Quality, Sales, and Finance.
This position also includes light front desk responsibilities, so professionalism and strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving (Primary Focus)
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries
- Organize and maintain all shipping documents and records
- Generate and distribute shipping reports
- Assist with tracking shipments and resolving delivery issues
- Support Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and rejected materials
- Prepare Certificates of Conformance for Quality approval prior to shipment
- Work closely with Operations to confirm order readiness and lead times
- Submit shipping paperwork to Finance for invoicing
- Assist with invoice follow-ups and reconciliation
- Maintain accurate customer and shipment records
Front Desk Support (Secondary)
- Greet visitors and vendors professionally
- Monitor visitor access and follow security procedures
- Manage incoming calls and direct appropriately
- Handle mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Ensure PPE supplies are stocked for visitors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics support
- Experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
