Position Summary
The Electrical Assembler II works under the general supervision of the Electrical Assembly Lead and performs routine electrical assembly operations of a repetitive nature on electronic components and subassemblies using drawings, schematics and a variety of hand and power tools.
Essential Job Duties
Read and understand electrical schematics for assembling machine components
Wire sub panels, mount panels to machinery, wire components to panel and test
Perform troubleshooting as needed on project
Scan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems
Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and machines
Set parameters of components such as temperature controllers or inverters
Other Duties
May assist with facility maintenance
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Three years Electrical Assembler II experience or a combination of technical electrical assembly experience and education to equal three years
Mechanical ability and knowledge preferred
Ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to meet deadlines
Possess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines
