Translator and Interpreter -Japanese bilingual

Job Title: Translator / Interpreter

Location: East Liberty, OH

Pay: $30-$38.92/hour ( $62.4K-$83.2K/year)

Hiring: Full-time (Year to year contract)

Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 40h/week (30 unpaid lunch)

• Written translation
• Simultaneous interpretation
• Consecutive interpretation
• Whispering interpretation
• Sight translation (read in silence and translate out loud)
• Interpretation jobs include various levels of meetings; and written translation jobs include technical and legal documents.
• With regards to the written translation, there is more translation work from Japanese to English, versus English to Japanese. Interpretation work is usually conducted simultaneously using headsets.
• In order to improve performance, research, meeting materials preparation, preliminary discussions, and glossary organization are also included.
• May be assigned other duties by managers

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Interpreter/Translator experience in Manufacturing industry
• Simultaneous Interpretation experience is preferred.
• English and/or Japanese at an idiomatic level.
