Export Documentation Coordinator – Entry Level

A Japanese freight forwarding company in Houston is seeking a full-time Export Coordinator.

No prior freight forwarding experience is required, and training will be provided. This position may be a good fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with documentation and data entry, and interested in building a long-term career in logistics.

This is a 100% on-site position, and the role requires daily communication in English with customers, shipping companies, warehouses, trucking companies, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export and shipping documents
• Enter shipment information into internal systems
• Review documents carefully for accuracy
• File AES and other required shipment data
• Prepare billing / invoice entries
• Maintain shipment files and records
• Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouses, and trucking companies
• Support daily export operations and shipment deadlines

Qualifications

• No prior freight forwarding or logistics experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and time management skills
• Comfortable handling detailed paperwork and data entry
• Able to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
• Willing to learn and follow established procedures
• Able to communicate professionally in English
• Freight forwarding or logistics experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Start time between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• 8 hours per day
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• 100% on-site in Houston, TX 77060
