Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pack purchased items at the register, ensuring there are no mix-ups or errors.
- Handle payment processing, primarily credit card transactions (some cash handling involved).
- Provide efficient and courteous service behind the register area.
- Maintain attention to detail to avoid mistakes in item handling and payment.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is strongly preferred (especially during busy seasons).
- Must be able to handle tasks independently without causing disruption to front-line sales activities.
- Basic English communication is required; Japanese language skills are a plus , but not mandatory.
- Must be able to stand during shifts and lift light items (typically up to 1 kg).
- At least one staff member available during the 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM window each day.
Compensation
- $18–$20 per hour , based on experience.
- This role is not commission-eligible as it does not involve sales duties.
