Project Manager (Construction / Technical Coordination)
📍 Shrewsbury, MA (50% office / 50% field – local travel required)
💰 Base Salary: $65K–$70K incentive opportunity
Why This Role Exists
We’re growing and taking on more fast-paced, demanding projects. Clients often provide limited or evolving information, timelines are tight, and execution needs to be sharp.
That environment creates opportunity, but also requires someone who can step in, take ownership, and keep projects moving without constant direction.
This hire is about adding strength to the project management function to improve execution, reduce rework, and keep both clients and internal teams aligned.
What This Role Is
This is not overly complex technical work. It’s a high-volume, fast-moving project environment where success comes from:
- Staying organized across multiple projects
- Moving quickly without sacrificing accuracy
- Thinking independently and solving problems in real time
- Taking full ownership from kickoff through completion
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take projects from sales and turn them into clear execution plans
- Review plans, specs, and client requirements to define scope
- Perform takeoffs and support quoting for larger projects
- Build out complete project packages (including signage layouts and requirements)
- Coordinate across sales, design, fabrication, and installation teams
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors to keep timelines on track
- Identify gaps or unclear information and proactively solve for them
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing detail
- Jump into drawings or layouts when needed (AutoCAD experience is a major plus)
What Success Looks Like
- You can operate with ~80% of the information and confidently fill in the gaps
- You don’t wait for direction, you move things forward
- Projects stay on track, organized, and accurate
- Clients feel taken care of, even in fast-moving situations
- Internal teams have what they need to execute without confusion
Ideal Background
We’re open on industry, but strong fits often come from:
- Construction, general contracting, or field service environments
- Project coordination or project management roles
- Mechanical, manufacturing, or technical settings
- Signage or similar design-to-install workflows
What We’re Looking For
- High energy and strong sense of urgency
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Natural problem solver who figures things out
- Comfortable in a field office hybrid role
- Team-oriented with a “get it done” mentality
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a strong plus
Compensation
- Base salary: $65K–$70K (depending on experience)
- Additional incentive tied to project/install performance
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
