What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Litigation Paralegal position at Partnership Employment?
We’re partnering with a well-established, highly regarded, regional law firm to hire a Civil Litigation Paralegal that'll work out of their Worcester or Boston office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, collaborative team with a strong reputation in the courtroom.
We're looking for candidates with solid civil litigation experience who are comfortable managing cases, supporting trial prep, and working in a fast-paced legal environment. Insurance defense experience would be a plus.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support attorneys through all phases of civil litigation
- Manage high-volume document review, discovery, and productions
- Prepare trial materials, including exhibits, binders, and summaries
- Draft medical chronologies, case summaries, and litigation documents
- File pleadings, motions, and court documents
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy preparation
What They’re Looking For
- 5 years of civil litigation experience (required)
- Trial prep experience in state and/or federal court
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases (80 matters)
- Experience with eDiscovery and document-heavy cases
- Insurance defense experience is a strong plus, but not required
- Professional, team-oriented, and detail-driven
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
