Duties

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare, review, and interpret complex financial statements and reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support organizational planning.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members in technical accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial report writing.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting standards including GAAP.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience working with multiple accounting software platforms.
• Skilled in mentoring team members to develop their technical skills in areas such as account reconciliation, journal entries, financial statement preparation, and audit support.
