Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming and returned mail
- Prepare and distribute daily cash reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and balancing activities
- Support accounts payable, including invoice entry, commission processing, and payment verification
- Assist with check issuance and reissuance as needed
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders (phone/email) regarding payments and account activity
- Maintain organized financial records in line with company policies
- Complete daily task lists and assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative projects
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Prior exposure to accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ideal Background
- Experience in a professional office setting
- Background in accounting, banking, or finance-related roles
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or coursework) in Accounting or related field is a plus
Schedule & Environment
- Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
- Fully onsite in a professional office environment
- Occasional overtime during peak periods
