Responsibilities
- Assisting with accounting tasks: This may include accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly close, and running financial reports.
- Analyzing and generating reports: Assist in preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports.
- Entering data: Enter information into the company's financial accounting system.
- Preparing statements: Prepare statements and take notes during meetings.
- Assisting with audits: Assist with audits and other special projects.
- Developing and implementing policies: Help develop and implement policies and procedures for financial management, payroll, and budget control.
- Reconciling accounts: Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Preparing presentations: Prepare PowerPoint presentations to convince decision-makers of a suggested course of action.
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field of study
