Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant
Location: Worcester, MA (Downtown)
Compensation: $25-29/hour

Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle AP and AR (invoicing, payments, deposits)
- Enter invoices and expenses into QuickBooks
- Write checks for client and office expenses
- Manage credit card and employee expense tracking
- Maintain organized filing systems for payables and receivables
- Assist with daily activity in operating accounts
- Communicate with attorneys regarding expenses and submissions
- Log into vendor accounts to track invoices and client-related expenses
- Support miscellaneous administrative and accounting tasks
Additional exposure:
- Legal billing support (Timeslips)
- Enter time and expenses, assist with invoice preparation
- E-Billing and applying daily receipts
Requirements
- 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Strong AP and AR experience
- Professional communication skills, especially working with attorneys
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Team & Structure
- Reports to Office Administrator
- Will be trained directly and work closely with internal billing team
