Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional to lead key aspects of the monthly close process, financial reporting, and budgeting activities. This role partners closely with the Controller and Corporate Finance team to ensure accurate, timely financial data and insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries, along with supporting documentation and analysis
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for Corporate
- Analyze financial results, including revenue, profitability, and balance sheet performance
- Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with corporate policies
- Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Assist with IFRS 15 revenue recognition reporting and analysis
- Develop and enhance financial reporting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Prepare reports for management, auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP/IFRS principles, and reporting processes
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
