Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program in the United States or designated equivalents thru ABET Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA) A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) is preferred for up to four years post-graduation, confirmed by transcript at the time of offer. Beyond four years from graduation, relevant experience will supersede GPA in hiring considerations.

Key Responsibilities
- Continuously analyze, enhance, and maintain an automated common software architecture, driving efficiency and scalability
- Lead initiatives to establish and enforce standardized software design and deployment practices across diverse tester platforms
- Accelerate the proficiency of new technical staff through the development and delivery of structured cross-discipline training programs and ongoing mentorship
- Lead improvements and contribute expert knowledge in electrical design methods, programmable instrumentation, complex switching, and test automation
- Lead comprehensive engineering reviews for project realization, electrical design, and software implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic and programmatic objectives
- Engage and collaborate across engineering divisions and agencies to define, refine, and mature verifiable test requirements
- Develop and deploy strategic solutions to resolve persistent and emergent production challenges, ensuring operational continuity
- Provide expert oversight and guidance to Project Leads, directing multi-agency teams toward successful project and product realization
- Monitor emerging JTA and telemetry technologies, proactively innovating and developing custom, compliant test equipment solutions
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science discipline with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
- OR Master's degree in engineering/science discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- OR PhD in engineering/science discipline with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- In addition to the above requirements, the applicant must also meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2A (i.e., Baccalaureate in engineering or related science, 2 years job-related and at least 1 year nuclear experience, or a DOE O 426.2A alternative). DOE O 426.2A experience requirements can be satisfied following employment. In the interim, newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities. - Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA
- Master's degree with a minimum 3.3/4.0 cumulative GPA
- PhD with a minimum 3.5/4.0 cumulative GPA
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain sophisticated automated test software solutions, leveraging expertise in C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, Java, and Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Proven ability to mentor, lead, and technically guide complex design and development projects from conception through deployment
- Expert-level proficiency in automating telemetry data decommutation processes, utilizing Telemetry Analysis and Visualiation Suite (TAVS), Interactive Analysis and Display System (IADS), and Inter-Range Instrumentation Group (IRIG) 106 CH10 standards, to extract and interpret critical data from various sources
- Demonstrated capability to design and implement automated production acceptance testing strategies and comprehensive test equipment calibration solutions, ensuring product quality and system accuracy
- Skilled in reverse engineering and troubleshooting complex legacy test systems, identify dependencies, and formulate modernization strategies
- Provide expert guidance and strategic recommendations on technical challenges, system optimization, and modern technology adoption
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical content, insights, and recommendations through oral and written channels to diverse audiences
- Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex technical issues, propose innovative solutions, and optimize system performance
- Skilled in producing comprehensive documentation for technical processes, system architectures, and test procedures, and in facilitating knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders
