What You'll Do
The Craft Supervisor oversees the daily work performed in the Maintenance Shop. The Craft Supervisor is responsible for assigning and monitoring the completion of work, as well as providing technical assistance, and generally managing the workforce within the Shop. The Craft Supervisor is expected to identify and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to support the timely and effective completion of assigned tasks. This includes ensuring that company policies and practices are followed in all phases of maintenance performance and personnel-related functions, including but not limited to the hiring and supervision of bargaining employees.
The Craft Supervisor also is responsible for ensuring that employees comply with Company policies and procedures, and the requirements of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

In addition, the applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2A (i.e., High School diploma and 3 years’ nuclear experience, or a DOE O 426.2A alternative). DOE 426.2A experience requirements can be satisfied following employment. In the interim, newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities. - Directly supervise and coordinate activities of bargaining maintenance technicians.
- Must complete Pre-Job Briefings for all work assignments
- Manage personnel and equipment resources for work
- Review and approve time records for direct reports
- Required to provide management and oversight of maintenance activities for the organization
- Must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate verbally and in written form
- Schedule and assign jobs, working with planning and scheduling departments
- Ensure the safe execution of work in the crafts group while meeting work schedules, quality standards, and adherence to to department budget
- Knowledge of fall protection and general PPE equipment
- Waste removal and tracking
- Provide technical guidance to the site, and resolve critical site issues
- Knowledge of hazards associated with electrical work activities
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
