The Financial Reporting & Modeling Manager provides day-to-day direction and direct supervision to a team of finance and budget professionals within the Finance & Budget Operations (FBO) Division. This role is central to the fiscal health and strategic planning of Pantex operations, encompassing comprehensive funds analysis, cost analysis, budgeting, planning, estimating, and robust baseline development and management. The individual is responsible for ensuring the team's timely execution of assignments, strict compliance with all applicable regulations, and the proactive identification and resolution of complex financial issues. This position requires a leader who excels in analytical thinking, effective communication, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment while upholding stringent safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily direction, guidance, and supervision to a team of finance and budget professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee and perform critical financial functions, including funds analysis, cost analysis, budgeting, planning, estimating, and the development and management of financial baselines.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable external/internal rules, regulations, and procedures. Maintain all documentation in configuration control of funding and performance baselines.
- Facilitate timely and effective communication and coordination within the FBO Division, and ensure clear, proactive communication with program and organization managers.
- Identify and resolve complex problems within the work group. Identify and champion continuous improvement initiatives associated with existing processes, tools, and methods within the area of responsibility.
- Assist and mentor direct reports, track the status of all deliverables and objectives, and proactively resolve status issues. Conduct annual performance evaluations, provide continuous feedback, and manage all personnel matters for direct reports. Set annual performance objectives for direct reports and concur on objectives for other team members.
- Analyze baseline and variances, suggesting appropriate corrective actions. Maintain an early warning trend program on all budgets. Analyze costs and provide program and organization managers with timely and accurate fiscal status updates.
- Conduct specialized financial analyses and respond to urgent management requests, often under extremely tight time constraints.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 15 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.

- Preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven working knowledge of Pantex business operations support, business configurations, resources, practices, and processes.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the NNSA (National Nuclear Safety Administration) budget formulation and execution processes.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Basic working knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices in costing and/or scheduling, estimating, or project controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications, including Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to integrate applications.
- Knowledge of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) and CIC (Corporate Information Code).
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and suggest effective corrective actions.
- Demonstrated ability to foster cooperation and cohesiveness within a work unit.
