Tasks and Responsibilities

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a careful approach to financial data. Collaboration with accounting, finance, and legal teams is an important part of the work to ensure tax information remains accurate and timely. The position also contributes to technology improvements that help strengthen tax processes and reporting. The work completed in this role supports compliance across multiple jurisdictions while helping the organization continue its expansion.

• Assist with quarterly tax estimates, extensions, and required tax payments.
• Prepare and post tax journal entries while reviewing tax accounts for accuracy.
• Maintain federal and state tax fixed asset and depreciation records within the company system.
• Track filing deadlines through a detailed tax calendar and ensure obligations are completed on time.
• Support tax audits and respond to requests from tax authorities by gathering and organizing documentation.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of tax accounting experience in public accounting or industry.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Understanding of GAAP and core U.S. tax compliance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and strong communication.
