What You’ll Do
- Lead daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll
- Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Partner with department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Mentor and develop a small, high-performing accounting team
- Support audit activities and collaborate with external auditors
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred; prior nonprofit accounting experience is ideal
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a flexible, hybrid environment
