Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and simplify the overarching company`s messaging framework, reflecting the company's core strategy, technology platforms, and incubation NewCos/JVs.
- Build a proactive external communications engine and maintain visibility into corporate, partnering, and clinical milestones.
- Serve as the primary U.S. escalation point for media relations and agency coordination, including RFP processes and on boarding brand partners.
- Drive marketing tailored to Western biopharma partners, investors, and the U.S. market, supporting BD-led activities.
- Develop thought leadership and executive visibility strategies for major conferences and partnering events.
- Coordinate with the China team to ensure a consistent global narrative, adapting messaging for Western audiences while aligning with China-based branding resources.

Profile
A successful Marketing and PR Director should have:
- A strong background in marketing and public relations, particularly within the life sciences industry.
- 7 years in corporate communications, marketing, or external relations within biopharma/life sciences.
- Exceptional corporate storytelling ability, with the capacity to translate complex science into boardroom-ready narratives.
- Proven track record across U.S. and China teams, bridging cultural and geographic gaps.
- Strong strategic judgment and autonomy to manage U.S. PR agencies and coordinate with executive leadership, IR, and BD.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin valuable for cross-continent coordination.
