Pacific International has been exclusively retained by a leading North American automotive manufacturing partner that operates as a critical extension of a major global OEM. The organization specializes in high volume, just in sequence module assembly, supporting flagship SUV programs through real time production alignment, synchronized material flow, and flawless execution.
With continued expansion and increasing production demands, the company is seeking a high performing Materials Manager who can lead a large multi shift materials organization, strengthen operational discipline, and elevate the maturity of scheduling, inventory management, and internal logistics in one of its most complex and fast paced facilities.

What You Will Do
- Oversee end to end material flow within a high volume automotive module assembly plant, ensuring timely and accurate sequencing, replenishment, and line side delivery.
- Lead a multi shift materials team including supervisors, coordinators, planners, and drivers, while fostering accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Own the accuracy of MRP and ERP data, aligning material schedules with real time customer demand and preventing shortages, delays, or production interruptions.
- Manage a large and diverse inventory base including more than one thousand active part numbers, ensuring correct storage, presentation, and flow throughout the facility.
- Collaborate daily with the onsite OEM team to align on production schedules, engineering changes, material availability, and operational priorities.
- Support PFEP accuracy and internal logistics optimization across all shifts and departments.
- Drive cross functional alignment with production, quality, supply chain, and engineering to support continuous improvement and seamless daily operations.
- Serve as a key leader in a plant that operates with tight delivery windows, rapid decision making, and strong customer expectations.
- This is a fully onsite role. No remote or hybrid flexibility.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of Management experience.
- Experience leading materials, logistics, or production control in a fast paced manufacturing environment, ideally automotive or module assembly.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing multi shift teams or supervising supervisors in a high complexity environment.
- Proficiency with ERP or MRP systems and comfort owning data accuracy, scheduling, and material planning.
- Ability to make clear decisions under pressure and maintain stability in a highly dynamic production environment.
- Understanding of just in time or just in sequence operations within a plant environment.
- Experience in a union environment is a plus.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work closely with cross functional teams and onsite OEM partners.
