SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
• Extensive development experience with Apex, Triggers, asynchronous Apex, Visualforce pages, Flows, and Platform Events
• Proven expertise designing and building integrations using REST API, SOAP API, Bulk API, and Metadata API to connect with multiple external systems
• Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) to create and convert modern user interface screens
• Deep understanding of handling large data volumes within Apex
• Demonstrated experience executing data migrations using Data Loader, Workbench, or equivalent third-party tools
• Active Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications
• Strong background working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and creating thorough technical documentation
Secondary (Good to Have):

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer for a 14 month, fully remote contract engagement supporting an established enterprise engineering function on Eastern Time. The ideal candidate will possess over a decade of IT experience, with a sharp focus on designing, building, and optimizing complex integrations between Salesforce Sales Cloud and external, non-Salesforce systems (both third-party and bespoke). Operating without the aid of intermediary middleware like MuleSoft or Data Cloud, the incumbent will take full ownership of point-to-point integration architectures, ensuring high performance, scalability, and robust data synchronization.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, customize, and optimize enterprise-grade Salesforce Sales Cloud integrations utilizing Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Architect and implement secure, scalable integrations with diverse external platforms utilizing REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Metadata APIs.
• Manage complex data flows and mitigate governor limits when handling large data volumes within Apex, particularly when querying real-time data from external architectures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with integration engineers, business analysts, and external system owners to align technical execution with strict functional and non-functional requirements.
• Drive engineering excellence by adhering to Salesforce best practices, actively participating in Agile ceremonies, demonstrating work products, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for all developed assets.
