SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
• Strong hands-on coding development experience (10-14 years of experience required)
• High-level expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2

• Mandatory experience coding in MQ Series & IMS DB / IMS DC
• Solid understanding of version control systems and building secure, high-quality code

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Elite Senior Mainframe Developer with 10 to 14 years of deep technical expertise to join our team onsite in Wilmington, DE. This critical role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance banking applications within a complex financial ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between heavy technical execution and architectural engineering, translating complex business regulations into secure, high-quality code.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, test, and implement robust Mainframe solutions that resolve complex business challenges and enhance operational efficiency
• Prepare comprehensive architecture and design documents for high-volume banking applications while working smoothly within established design constraints
• Write secure, high-quality code in COBOL, CICS, and JCL that runs seamlessly in sync with other highly efficient downstream and upstream subsystems
• Collaborate closely with Product Teams and cross-functional stakeholders to break down complex business and regulatory requirements into concrete technical designs
• Proactively troubleshoot production issues, challenge conventional technical approaches out-of-the-box, and potentially assist in building out new Test regions
