SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
• IBM InfoSphere DataStage Administration: Extensive experience in installation, configuration, user management, job scheduling, and performance optimization in complex enterprise environments.
• Program Management: Proven track record in managing large-scale data integration or data warehousing programs with 13–17 years of experience.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to coordinate infrastructure, application, and data engineering teams within a hybrid work model.
• Financial Domain Knowledge: Understanding of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting processes.
• Governance & Compliance: Familiarity with data governance, security, and audit requirements for sensitive financial data.
Secondary (Good to Have):
• Certifications: IBM Certified Solution Developer (InfoSphere DataStage), PMP, or equivalent program management certification.
• Tooling Proficiency: Expertise in project tracking and dependency management tools to report on KPIs.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager with a deep technical foundation in IBM InfoSphere DataStage to lead critical data integration programs. You will oversee a portfolio of projects aimed at providing stable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. This role requires a unique blend of technical administration expertise and high-level program management, ensuring that data integration initiatives effectively support finance, accounting, and overall business operational excellence.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of DataStage-focused integration programs, managing scope, milestones, and dependencies across multiple projects.
• Drive standardization of jobs, schedules, and operational procedures to maximize system reliability and runtime performance.
• Oversee program governance, including steering committee updates, risk mitigation, and clear financial/status transparency.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure all DataStage administration activities adhere to enterprise access control and data protection policies.
• Guide resource planning, budgeting, and capacity management, ensuring infrastructure and licensing investments deliver measurable business value.
• Analyze operational metrics to initiate optimization efforts, reducing manual interventions and accelerating the delivery of new business capabilities.
