Campus Recreation Graduate Student Assistant

The Center for Student Engagement at Pace University is seeking to hire The Campus Recreation & Intramural Graduate Student Assistant. This position will support the daily operations, promotion, and administration of the campus recreation, intramural sports program, and operations of the gym facilities. This position assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating a variety of intramural activities designed to foster student engagement, leadership, and wellness within the campus community. The Graduate Student Assistant plays a key role in supervising student staff, managing leagues and tournaments, assisting with gym facility operations and ensuring a positive and inclusive recreational environment.

• Prior experience as an undergraduate Intramural Official/Supervisor
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Task oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral/written communication skills to support recruitment and retention.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in a Collegiate Recreation setting.
• Experience working with recreation software packages such as IM Leagues.
• Strong interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.

This position requires approximately 20 hours per week at $25 per hour.
