We’re partnering with our client seeking an Accounting Specialist to support commission accounting, reconciliations, and financial operations. What You’ll Be Doing…
• Reconcile vendor commission reports, deductions, and chargebacks against internal records and contracts
• Investigate and resolve commission, order, and payment discrepancies while partnering with sales, operations, and vendors
• Enter order and invoice information into the accounting system while maintaining accurate financial records
• Prepare reconciliation reports, supporting documentation, and summary narratives for leadership review
• Follow up with vendors regarding commission reports, payments, and outstanding items
• Support general accounting operations through reporting, document management, and other accounting-related projects
Here’s What Your Work History Needs to Show as Evidence That You’re the Right Candidate…
• 1–2 years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems preferred
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; experience in a small business environment is a plus
Additional Details
Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually
Employment Model: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am- 5pm
