Construction Superintendent

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, manage subcontractors, and uphold the highest standards of quality.

Responsible for on-site coordination of all trades and employees for construction of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Daily jobsite activities for a single project.
• Jobsite safety programs and reporting.
• Scheduling and coordination of Subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Ensuring employee safety and project housekeeping.
• Reporting accidents of any type to the Safety Team in a timely manner.
• Notifying the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager of labor and material needs.
• Keeping daily time records and accurate cost centers for each employee.
• Coding materials to proper cost centers.
• Creating and maintaining daily job reports.
• Obtaining and tracking all necessary city inspections.
• Attending all jobsite meetings.
• Performing weekly review of job costs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have experience supervising numerous commercial, industrial or retail projects in Florida up to $50M.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in commercial construction.
• OSHA 30 certification.
