Outline of the role
Assist the shipping department’s process by coordinating activities with other departments.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Input and edit shipping functions producing Interplant Delivery Tickets and Bills of Lading
- Input and edit shipping functions producing Delivery Tickets and Bills of Lading
- Run Backorders
- Split Deliveries for shipment
- File Deliveries
- Submit ASN’s
- Work with Inside Sales on Backorders and late Deliveries
- Help Enter Trip Sheets for trucks
- Must be able to operate a Forklift to load and unload trucks
- All other duties as directed by Shipping Supervisor or Plant Manager
