Opportunity: Assistant Project Manager – Fit-Out
Overwatch Mission Critical is seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager (Fit-Out) to support large-scale data center construction projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career in project management while supporting the delivery of complex, mission-critical infrastructure.
You will work directly with client teams, General Contractors, and vendors to drive progress, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and maintain quality and safety standards throughout the fit-out process.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and distribute detailed meeting notes for internal and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, project trackers, and organized photo documentation.
- Support project controls, including cost tracking, change management, and schedule updates.
- Respond promptly to client and internal inquiries regarding reports, logs, and documentation.
Construction Coordination
- Assist in tracking and managing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Coordinate OFCI (Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed) equipment deliveries and verify readiness with vendors.
- Support submittal and RFI workflows in collaboration with the Project Manager and field teams.
- Participate in design and constructability reviews to identify potential issues and solutions.
Safety & Quality
- Conduct or participate in weekly jobsite walks and safety inspections.
- Support implementation of client safety programs and verify compliance with site protocols.
- Attend third-party and client inspections, documenting and escalating issues when required.
- Maintain alignment with quality and safety culture on every project.
Client & Team Interface
- Foster professional relationships with the client and General Contractor to ensure open communication.
- Track weekly GC schedule updates and proactively flag impacts or risks.
- Assist in client site visit coordination, tours, and reporting.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement and Lessons Learned documentation.
Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in construction, engineering, or facilities management preferred. Data center, MEP, or fit-out project exposure is a plus.- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera is an advantage.
- Communication: Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule: Onsite Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Preferred: OSHA 10 or 30 certification; experience in mission-critical, MEP, or interior fit-out environments.
