We are working with a well-established privately held manufacturing business seeking a Regional / Multi-Site Controller to take ownership of financial performance across multiple operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining core accounting, cost control, and operational finance, with strong visibility to senior leadership and direct impact on business performance.
You will act as a true finance business partner to operations, driving visibility across cost, performance, and profitability while ensuring strong financial control and reporting across sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of multi-site financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
- Full responsibility for month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Lead cost accounting and standard costing, including cost rolls and margin analysis
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership to improve financial performance
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting to leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Drive process improvement initiatives across finance and operations
- Support audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong cost accounting and operational finance experience
- Experience working in a privately held / PE-backed business
- Exposure to ERP systems (any major ERP - not system-specific)
- Proven ability to support multiple sites or business units
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
