Surgery Claims Appeals Coordinator - KOC Central Business Office

We are currently seeking a full-time Surgery Claims Appeal Coordinator who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with insurance accounts receivable (AR) management for physician claims

• Monitors outstanding balances

• Reviews reports including but not limited to clearinghouse rejections, claims denial tasks, and AR aging reports

• Contacts payers to research claim status, notes accounts and follows up

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience in a medical billing office or similar

• Experience with patient or customer collections

• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance standards

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and independently

• Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service
