Join the KOC team on site at KOC at UT Medical Center, the Region's only Academic and Level 1 Trauma Center. This role will support the Orthopedic Institute, one of UT Medical Center's 9 Centers of Excellence, through a long-standing partnership with KOC providers. We are currently seeking two full-time Operating Room RN Circulators for a day and middle shift, who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in highly specialized ortho surgical procedures including ortho trauma at a Level 1 trauma center
- Work closely with surgeons to optimize patient outcomes
- Prepare operating room for surgeries

Understand, advocate, and maintain sterile parameters
- Stock supplies, assist room turnovers, participate in precepting, expiration date checks, and additional assigned tasks

Complete documentation, preoperative review, sterile prep, universal timeout, specimen management, surgical counts, etc.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Tennessee Registered Nursing License
- BSN Preferred
- Basic RN experience required; surgery experience preferred; 3-4 month training with no surgery experience
- BLS and ACLS (can be obtained at hire)
- Ability to support holiday coverage and take call requiring a 30-minute response capability
- Support the specialties of Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Trauma, Total Joint, Upper and Lower Extremity, Ortho Spine, Mako Robotics, Complex Revision and much more
